Favourite event venue
The Orbit Lounge Bar, Sydney. It’s on the 47th Floor of Australia Square the views are amazing.

Lynne makes a great impression whenever she’s on-site and we are constantly asked for her to be booked on the next project. She always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure not only that the job gets done, but that the client is as relaxed and re-assured as they can be. Lynne’s confidence-building with clients comes from extensive experience in her role as Technical Manager, coupled with her previous experience as a software trainer.

Favourite event venue
Hyatt Regency Boston. The most friendly, helpful conference and banqueting team I’ve ever worked with.

Hugely experienced with over 20 years in the events industry, Phil came to Crystal following a stint operating the then cutting-edge Watch Out system. Before that, he enjoyed a successful career in theatre. As well as delivering flawless events in some of the most high-profile situations, Phil is constantly scanning the horizon for new technical innovations to bring to the Crystal stable.

A small workshop in San Francisco with Robert Redford’s Sundance organization.

Chris has been Crystal Interactive’s MD since July 2006, and leads on major facilitation projects as well as training others in using our unique blend of event interactivity.

A qualified teacher, Chris has been using his classroom management skills in the commercial arena for the last 12 years. He honed his facilitation skills conducting workshops within management consultancy firms (such as Cap Gemini and Ernst and Young), and now facilitates live and virtual conferences all over the world.

Cold and/or weak coffee. (I love my coffee!)

Jacqui is a key contact for all new clients and is able to inform them on all of Crystal's event solutions.

Her experience in the events industry ranges from being a professional dancer travelling the world, to conference management in Dubai. Jacqui has an enthusiastic approach to her work and her customer service skills mean you'll always get service with a smile!

Lack of vol-au-vents at the buffet ;)

Pet hate at conferences
Groups of people walking out of the room before the final speaker has finished. How rude is that!

With over a decade of event management experience, and two years managing a specialist interactive keypad company, Jim is well-qualified to advise our clients on the best interactive solution to meet their event objectives. Catering staff 'jangling' teaspoons before refreshment breaks.

Most memorable moment on-site
The entire delegation came down with instant and violent food poisoning, and the CEO demanded everyone make themselves sick immediately!

Nick has overseen the development of Crystal’s technology since 2004. In this role he is well-equipped to support all of our technical managers while on-site. He also works on-site supervising the larger-scale, more technically-complex events.

Most memorable event
A launch event, for which real-time breakout sessions took place right across Europe. Responses – from thousands of delegates – were fed back to a central point at ExCeL London.

As a media production graduate, James knows how demanding an event environment can be. His excellent communication skills and professional manner means he's responsive to any challenges faced onsite. iPods and iPads are second nature to James and his ability to learn quickly means he's able to deliver and help develop Crystal's interactive services.

With a wealth of cross-functional experience, John is responsible for the creation of systems and procedures that support the finance, sales and marketing operations at Crystal.

Favourite conference city
Tokyo - vibrant, crowded, visually spectacular

Being so familiar with Crystal's hardware means that when on-site, Ed can fulfil the role of Technical Manager as well as effectively and efficiently fix any hardware or software problems should they arise. His interest in technology means that he will quickly find a technical solution to an event challenge.

Ed loves gadgets and is a keen adopter of anything new, if you're evaluating a new laptop or phone ask Ed as he's probably already tried it!

Favourite conference city
Berlin (Good beer and a great city!)

When not on-site with Crystal, Kalle fixes bugs for large software companies. That should tell you all you need to know about him: he’s at ease with the most complicated technical situations and shows single-minded determination in getting problems ironed out.

Most unlikely venue experience
In the middle of the desert surrounded by tanks!

Admired by many of our clients as a consummate multi-tasker, Stephen always thinks about the whole picture when on-site: "What does my client need to successfully deliver their conference?", rather than "What have I been paid to do?" His speed and dexterity, both with Crystal and more widely with his graphics skills, make him an invaluable team-member on-site.

Favourite conference city
London (it's such a great city!)

One of our most experienced on-site technical managers, and also Crystal’s Head of Marketing, Meeta brings a professionalism to her work that has been praised by many of her clients. This trait also serves her well as the Head of Development for our technical team, ensuring a consistently high performance from all staff while on-site.

Most memorable event
Once, when my birthday coincided with the end of a four-day conference, I was presented with a cake and everyone, including the delegates, sang Happy Birthday! I was very embarrassed.
