The UnConference steal the show for Ragan Communications
Crystal Interactive facilitated a one-day free form workshop for Ragan Communications. The event provided 100 communications professionals with the opportunity to network and discuss freely, at a non-formatted, 'UnConference' style event held in Las Vegas.
Instead of presenters, panels and PowerPoint, Ragan Communications recruited discussion leaders who helped stimulate and lead delegates in generating key issues for debate in a round-table, cafe style environment. Delegates identified the topics they most wanted to discuss related to the theme of incorporating social media into their organisations.
Delegates captured the discussion in real time using Crystal Interactive's Tablet technology, and it was broadcast live via the Ragan website later that day.
"Unconferencing is currently attracting a lot of interest in the US business press, but in fact similar mind-share principles have been applied by leading facilitators for a number of years. Crystal has been supporting "unconference-style" events with technology since 2000." Says Chris Elmitt
