Issue Two: Creating Internal Events that are Fit for Purpose

Meeting planners are increasingly being asked by sponsors to integrate interactivity into events. But without a purpose or substance it can be expensive and gimmicky. The report explores how much and to what level interactivity should be applied to an event and the impact on the overall event format.

To support those considering interactivity for their next event we have created an event formatting model, a unique planning guide for all those involved in the planning, content creation and formatting of their meetings and events.
This report will also explore how interactivity can have a profound impact on the meeting format by supporting the four core purposes for an internal event or meeting – learning, information sharing, managing change and generating new ideas.

Issue One: Inside the Mind of the Delegate

What do delegates actually think about the events they attend? Many organisers try to gauge feedback by asking people through standard evaluations to rate individual aspects of their event – the food, speakers, venue and so forth. But has anyone managed to get inside the mind of a delegate and determine what they really want from meetings and events?
In this report Crystal shares the results of a qualitative survey conducted among 4,867 event-goers who have attended their 51 events over the past 18 months.

Anyone involved in organising events and meetings will find this report is a unique insight into the mind of a delegate.

The Human Touch Report 2006

Does internal communication and staff interaction matter to the UK's business leaders - and if so how is it being managed? Is internal communication a priority, is it a skill-set that Boards already possess - or is it more likely to be seen as a necessary evil - to be endured but not excelled at?

The results within this research report will help you with your staff communications strategy and give you an opportunity to benchmark your own issues and performance against your peers.
