The meeting is hosted by a Crystal facilitator who keeps the speakers on topic and to time and will canvass views from delegates.
•
It’s most effective to use interviews rather than straight presentations, allowing the speakers to focus on their content while the host runs the meeting process.
•
During the meeting, the Crystal Facilitator will work along side meeting sponsors to facilitate discussions, introduce interactive sessions and summarise/interpret ideas generated by delegates.
•
The Crystal facilitator’s ability to distil contributions and to explore key themes during the meeting ensures delegates feel listened to and where appropriate, the group reaches consensus.
•
All delegates’ inputs are captured; these are themed and collated into an easy-to-read verbatim report - available hours after a meeting.
•
Delegate evaluation and feedback can also be captured quickly and efficiently.
All of this allows the organisation to maintain the meeting’s momentum and complete the post-event tasks more rapidly ensuring objectives are met and results are achieved.
Interactive technology
We use a proven online software tool which provides a sophisticated set of features which will help to engage the audience during the event. In particular, we see the following features as being particularly useful:
•
Anonymous input to encourage open debate and questioning from delegates (irrespective of their command of English).
•
Ability to analyse and organise ideas to allow the group to reach consensus.
•
Sub-group work areas, allowing clusters of delegates to share ideas with each other before presenting ideas in plenary.
•
Sophisticated, multi-criteria voting allowing meeting owners to poll delegate opinions and review results immediately.
